Every producer in our portfolio has hosted us at their estate. We don't buy from catalogues — we sit at the table, taste from the barrel, and only work with people who share our standards.
We taste hundreds of wines a year. Fewer than 5% make the cut. We're looking for character, tension, and a sense of place — and more importantly exceptional balance — wines that reward attention, not just consumption.
Wine is fragile. Our cold-chain logistics run from cellar door to Swedish warehouse with zero temperature breaks. Every bottle arrives exactly as the winemaker intended — even in January.
Felix Hasselberg spent a decade deep in the European wine trade before founding Nordisk Wine in 2019. Born and raised in Stockholm, he grew up around food, hospitality, and a stubborn belief that Swedes shouldn't have to settle for what the big distributors decide to ship north.
Today he leads a small, obsessive team of wine professionals. Felix spends 100+ days a year on the road — walking vineyards, tasting barrel samples, and sitting across kitchen tables from the producers who pour their lives into every bottle. Those relationships are the backbone of everything Nordisk Wine does.
